How dare he just act like he knows everything. I took the prison keys out and unlocked his shanks,shoverd him into the cell and told him too MEIN KAMFF.

This book so far has been talking about all the things that make a war happen eg-Wagons, steam trains, Tanks, Airplanes and much more. Like ships that carry armour and fuel and supplies for everyone, which I find magnificant. I think the book is very good, showing all the work that everyone puts into for war.

We find out the truth, sort of.

1, The field of Asphodel looks like 10million times of a football field filled with lost souls, the same number of people that could fit in the stands only 10million more times.

2, You had to be reborn three times, you also have to have achieved something.

3,Grovers shoes dragged him 10 feet from the pit. So they went with the shoes guts and kept going.

4,Hades aura is different because it makes people feel evil and  want to be controlled by him.

5, Some were in medeavil costumes which dated back a long time ago, some looked like they were once in the us marine and some looked like they were covered in army stuff, with ak 47s and machine guns.

6, Hades complains about his helm being stolen, not wanting war and the underworld being  crammed with too many people that he's not that rich no more.

7, Percy found that Zeus's thunder bolt was in his backpack.

8,By using them he gave Hades no other choiuce but to kepp his mum and release everyone from the underworld.I would stay myself for my mom, i am a demi god, so there should be someway to get out, i'd just give the Bolt to grover so he could take it up and let him feel like a hero, he can finally redeem himslef.

9, They have saved him everytime they came across a bump in the road, they would sacrafice themselves for him, they both are his true friends.

10, Just throw them at your feet at anytime you're in need, then they'll save you, turning you into monograms and return you to the sea.

Annabeth does obedience school

1, Percy isn't using "Charon's" correct name...
2,Charon realised when he sniffed him and Percy had dyslexia, dyslexics are normally demi-gods.
3, Charon wanted the money and Percy offered a pay raise from hades.
4, The river Styx had human bones, fish bones, dolls, guilty diplomas and other stuff. It's because the humans threw dreams, hope, away that ended up to fail, that never came true.
5,The entrance to the underworld was looked like a cross between airport security and the jersey turn pike. There were three entrance ways, under a black arch way. Each entrance had a security camera and a medal detector. He can hear a howling dog but can't see it.
6, I would be risked to be judged, I'm dead anyway. :LL
7, Percy's plan was to get a stick and play fetch with the dog, to simply distract him. it didn't work because he the stick went into the river.
8, Annabeth pulled out a red ball to play with Cerberus, she was able to do it because she went to dog obedience school, they also had a dog when she was little so she new how to control one.
9,Monsters  needed attention.
10, Yes, i really feel sorry for him,  he has no friends so of course i would play fetch with him.

My awesome weekend

Friday, Saturday and Sunday was terrific. Travelling up north on Friday to watch kapahaka. Travelled back to Hamilton for my aunties(grandmas) seventieth and to watch the Olympics opening ceremony, then travelled to Cambridge to attend a netball tournament.

"Krista Meghan, and other gymnast need money to travel to tournaments for the New Zealand Gymnastics squad. Note that it's not for school it's for Gymnastics. There will be a tournament in Blenheim, and finalist will go ahead so San Fransisco I think?
The gymnasts are asking for funds, the student council already decided to fund them, ideas for fundraisers? "

House t-shirts:
There will be a house t-shirt competition for those who want to design a logo for there house t-shirts.
You don't have to be good at drawing, because Whaea Rangi can posh it up for you.
You can only vote for the t-shirts in your house.

Runathon for one day:Long before Devon and Aims, the student council decided to support One day. We cannot change our minds in such short notice.

A familiar nursery rhyme, that many of you have recited may seem  like a harmless play song, yet it ironically refers to Europe's most devastating disasters-The Plague, also know as...THE BLACK DEATH

“Ring around the Rosie” which refers to the infected fleabites, that form rings.

“A pocket full of posies”  Those who weren’t affected with the plague, wore posies to ward off the  odour  from those  who were.

“Ashes,  Ashes” a child's imitation of the sneezing made by those who were infected, it was also believed that most corpse were cremated because of the revolting stench.

Hence the words ashes.

“We all fall down” By now, this one should need little explanation.

The Black Death is a pandemic which, as I said before, occurred a long time ago. Rodents and fleas had a significant role in this disease, causing all of it. The fleas would bite the infected rodents,  and travel on the boats with the rodents, to other countries, once they (the fleas) had bitten someone, the person would be instantly infected, and will die, slowly. Those who are infected, are very contagious.

The first recorded case of the plague was in China, in 224.b.c.e.

But the most enormous outbreak was in the mid fourteenth century . Over a five year period between 1347-1352, 25 million people died. One third to one half of the Europe population was wiped out. The Black Death lingered on for centuries, particularly in cities. Outbreaks included the Great Plague of London (1665-66), in which one in five residents died. In total of the whole world-75mill-200million people had died because of the black plague.

Some plague doctors wore a special costumes, although graphic sources show that plague doctors wore a variety of clothes. The costumes were invented by Charles de L’Orme in 1619; they were first used in Paris, but later spread to be used throughout Europe. The  suit had a heavy fabric overcoat that was waxed, a mask of glassed eye openings and a  beak to hold scented substances because back then it was believed that the plague was cause by “bad air” in which doctors perfumed there  coats and masks.

Some of the scented materials were amber, balm-mint leaves, camphor, cloves, laudanum , myrrh, rose petals and storax..A wooden cane was also used to help examine the patient without touching.

I think the question all of you have been dying to ask is, is it still around.

Unfortunately, it is, there are very random reports of The Plague, commonly reported in America.

Luckily, we have the facilities, the antidotes and the resources to manage the disease.

I am twelve years old, and i am writing to you as a young adult being against your last publication on Unicorns and mythical creatures.
Unicorns, do and will always exist. As an editor, being imaginative and creative are your duties.
Where's that gone?
People believe in God, even though he has a book to prove it, unicorns, fairies, they have television shows and 3D movies.
Maybe your life is a bit turned at the moment, us humans only see what the eyes can take in. What if there's more?
Have we thought about beyond our eyesight?
Have we thought beyond Earth?
Have we thought beyond the Entire Galaxy?

We will never know if someone's watching us.
For instance, did the who's in Horton Hears a Who know that their whole world was based on a tiny speck?
I'm not saying that that is happening, I'm saying that we are not considering all of the arguments.
And who would question the fine art of Dr Sues.

As you can see, there are a lot of opinions here, but from a stupid twelve year old, i bet you you wont even consider this argument .

My trip to the Museum♥

Gallerys...

1-Pukaki was believed to be a Maori Protector, born in the 1700's, carved in 1836.I liked that Pukaki was returned to it's home/haukainga

2-This gallery was about the waka Te Arawa and it's arrival to New Zealand/Aotearoa. It was quite interesting learning even more facts

3-Gallery three was about all the objects Maori used back then. I found it quite interesting that Tutanekai's flute was made of a dead mans right arm.

4-I learnt in this Gallery more about patterns on the whare, and found it fun looking for all the spiral designs on the Pataka/Food Storage Area

5-This exhibit was very exciting, it was an exhibit of what Europeans brang to New Zealand(e.g-Organ)

6-The Mt Tarawera exhibit was exhilarating, Information about Guide Sophia,the story about the famous Guide who spoke both Maori and English and ran tours around the terraces was a remarkable story.

7-Gallery seven was very breathtaking, seeing as they had so much information on both world wars 1 & 2,  and had all the members of the maori battalion from Rotorua on the wall.

8-Gallery eight had loads of information about Rotorua born  celebrities like "Temuera Morrison". Another exciting exhibit it was.

North wing

-I found looking at baths got boring after a little while

-The Art Gallery was both interesting and devastating, looking at art of all emotions, happy, sad, angry e.t.c....

-I liked the Fairy Exhibit because i like playing Dress-Ups

-That sci-fi stuff was pretty cool, but was a bit creepy as-well

-The view was Beautiful, seeing Rotorua from there made me feel proud of where i was from.

-Downstairs where the pipe room is, was very small, but very AWESOME. It was scary and fun at the same time.

William moved towards the wooden door and pulled it  out slowly, but then he was jerked to the side, slamming into the kitchen fridge. People say it was a magnitude of 4.8, but William thought this time was different. It felt more scary, more horrific, and more shocking than usual, it must be because Christchurch hasn't had one in a while now, and they were just picking up the pieces. Some say it's a sign of the worlds ending, others say that it's just a coincidence, but i think it's because New Zealands sits exactly on the line of the ring of fire. Luckily, William didn't die, but was seriously injured. We are still finding out the results of how many were injured, and if any were killed.

In this very chapter, Matt found the Rothery stone, which is now buried in hot exploded mud along side with Skulla, you remember how Dr Ian predicted an explosion held in the Whakarewarea forest park, where Matt had been ambushed to look for gold by Skulla. Luckily Jackson is still alive, but barely coping with the hotness of the burning blood. Let's hope for the best ♥

Matt and Eve found diamonds in the ponga tree, which is why it was so important to Mary Basham, another great hiding spot.

I personally think that they should help Ana, but not follow her. She is associated with the gang, and getting hit is the last thing he wants!

Matt and Eve Hastings went to the museum because he thought it would be right to return the sovereigns they found to his cousin, Billy, to put on display.

Edward had given the metal box and the ponga log to Mary as a gift. It must have some specialty to it otherwise Edward wouldn't have given it to her.

Eve went to Ian McMillans speech, about the rocks and bottles, and she also listened to how there may be another explosion the next week, so she organised a plan, to go with Ian to the woods and talk about the research with Matt.

I personally think that since they faked finding diamonds, Matt will be in huge trouble and will most likely be beaten or, threatened. Although he may have protection, they just teased the gang, which will become more furious and more violent.

Gawks real name is Cecil Hilton, but has no association with the Hiltons hotel and the celebritys.

Cecil Hilton lives in an old, iron garage, which is probably why he stole the gold..

Cecil gave the sovereigns back because he knew who WXK was and if he didn't give them back, Jackson would lead them to Cecils house.

Ofcourse i'd be worried for Jackson, because the last thing Matt would want is to lead Jackson back to the gang ...AGAIN

He wants to help him, because Juzza is so caught up in his gang association, that he dosen't realise that Skulla and the Gang are using him.

Who is Gawk?

"Gawk" is the name Matt uses to explain a perve, that is queer,  spying on lovers. In the book, Gawk has orange 90's styled hair, a tropical t-shirt and tight shorts, quite dodgy.

What was Gawk doing?

Gawk(creepy, dodgy pervert  queer guy) was interested in two lovers, doing their thing, in the bush. The book also states that Gawk got angry at Matt when Matt made a noise and stopped the couple from doing whatever and scared them away.

Netball is where it's AT!

On Saturday, Netball. Sunday Netball training for reps. Saturday i did homework. Sunday i tried looking for my long lost portfolio. I failed Epiucly. Then i cleaned my rooms windows(that had my drawings all over it),. But creepy man next door kept staring at me. So then i played tabletennis.:)
I then watched limitless then went to bed at ten. Now i just realised that i forgot to bring my flippin homeword to school. Yay me xD

Louis Miller Miller is the loving mother of Mary Basham. Edaward Basham was the husband of Mary Basham and he's the one who made a locket for Louis and placed a photo of her mother-Louis Miller- in the locket.

Edward Basham
Edward is the sweet, cute, and rich husband of Mary Basham. He also worked at the a bank in London and is suspected of theft. He is also awfully rich.

Mary Basham:
The loving wife of Edward. She is also a huge fan of natural history, finding a group of friends to watch the lunar eclipse happen. She is very rich and owns all kinds of jewels and hides her big, diamond necklace hanging in the springs, under her bed at her hotel.

Scott Murray
H e is the leader of Dubexkey, (wxk). He used to be the best rugby league player, but when his family fell apart and his dad left for Australia, he formed a gang. Spectators at his games said that he could have even made it into the NRL.His Gang name is skulla and he has a skull tattooed on his forehead.

Ian Mcmillan
The most excited scientest in the world now, if it wasn't for Matt. Now he is going to use the bottled samples of water dated back to 1886 from the pink and white terraces and the rocks from there for speech.







Eve
Eve is the most loveliest girl and is over in rotorua all the way from Mrgret River in Australia for a holiday. She is also helping Matt find the pieces to his puzzle, and is having more fun then her everyday video game on computer routine.

Scott Murry-
A.K.A-Skulla, the leader of wxk.
Past-Splendid league player, determined, intelligent and could have made it into a NRL team.Until his family moved, and all hell broke loose.
Present-Is apart of a gang(;leader), threatening young children, tattoos, stealing and a Relly BAD INFLUENCE.Do not aproach.
